↑Ramen Yokocho
The area beneath Tokyo Station is a vast shopping mall, filled with many stores.
The first photo shows an area called “Ramen Yokotyou(Ramen Alley)”. There are 7 famous and delicious ramen shops lined up. The system is simple: you purchase a ticket at the entrance, then hand it to the staff inside the shop. The ticket machines support multiple languages, including Chinese, English, and Korean. Each shop has its own unique flavor, so you can choose a ramen that suits your mood for the day.
↑100-Yen Shop “Can Do”
This store offers products priced between ¥100 and ¥500, making it incredibly budget-friendly. It’s a great option for those looking to buy plenty of souvenirs.
↑ Don Quijote (Donki)
A fun store where you’re sure to find whatever you’re looking for! Known for offering items cheaper than other stores, it’s extremely popular among young Japanese shoppers. The store is divided into three sections: souvenirs, alcohol, and snacks. Look for products with the “ド” logo—these are Don Quijote’s original items, and they’re highly recommended!
Tokyo Station’s underground area is so expansive that it’s easy to get lost. Even I lost my sense of direction while browsing the shops! If you’re planning to visit here, please check the map on this blog.
